Research beyond the business plan
we start by carrying a feasibility testing to know if the project is a ‘go’ project. Once we get the greenlight, we go ahead to create a project charter where the business needs/requirements, stakeholders, and the business case is clearly outlined.
next, we develop a roadmap that everyone will follow. We set SMART and clear goals; taking into consideration today’s fast-paced business environment. We identify the cost, quality, available resources, establish performance measures and a realistic time table for project. Roles and responsibilities are also clearly defined such that every team member knows who is accountable for what
for us, this phase is like the ‘meat’ of the project since a lot is happening during this time. We complete the following tasks during this phase; assign resources, set up tracking systems, status meetings, update project schedules as well as modify project plans among others.
we then measure performance and progress of the project to see if everything happening aligns with the project management plan. We make use of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to see if the project is on track. We review the business case at the end of each phase and make adjustments to the project plan where needed.

We also create a project punch list of things that didn’t get accomplished during the project and work with team members to complete them.
